Fairmount Circle welcomes Picnic Hill Market Cafe!

Picnic Hill Market Cafe is a labor of love by founders Michael Miller and Shawn Brown. Picnic Hill is a full service gourmet market featuring a vibrant bar and cafe.

Their Market Cafe will give customers the opportunity to dine-in on all natural foods or pick up lunch or dinner from our “Takeaway Gourmet” menu, which has been created by an award winning Chef with over thirty years of experience.

The Market will feature the highest quality specialty foods for the “Everyday Gourmet”. You may also choose from our premium wine and champagne selection curated by our sommelier. The Market will also feature a diverse selection of domestic and imported cheeses; as well as premium charcuterie, locally sources all natural breads, fine chocolates, premium condiments, olive oils, household items, and much more.

The Bar at Picnic Hill Market Cafe will offer a daily happy hour with small plates, craft cocktails, and local beers and will be a great place to meet new and old friends.

Fratantonio’s Barber shop – Now open on Mondays

Located on the first floor of the Fairmount Medical Office Building is Fratantonio’s Barber Shop.  Fratantonio’s was one of the first tenants to open when the building was converted from a movie theater to an office building in 1961.

The staff at Fratantonio’s values the relationships they build with their customers.  They often work with several generations of customers from kids to grandparents.

Mark, the manager of the barbershop, mentioned his love for their location at Fairmount Circle due to the uniqueness of the building and the strong community ties.

Mondays – Now Open

Tuesday: 6:30 am – 6:00 pm

Wednesday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Thursday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Friday: 6:30 am – 6:00 pm

Saturday: 6:30 am – 5:00 pm

April Shop of the Month – Irish Trading Company

Irish Trading Company has been a long-standing business at Fairmount Circle for 20 years.  When you walk in this quaint shop, you are likely to be greeted by owner, Don Davis, who could brighten anyone’s day with his cheerful personality.  When asked what keeps him going, Don mentioned his love for the diverse community at Fairmount Circle and he cherishes the conversations and relationships from those who come into his store.

Don believes in stocking authentic, value-added products at Irish Trading Company and strives to provide an experience that cannot be found by shopping online.  Most products are sourced directly from local vendors in Ireland, whom Don finds himself by traveling to Ireland several times a year.  Many of the shirt designs are also Don Davis original!
